THEODORE CHANA

From an early age, Theodore has been influenced by his creative parents who are both artists. Learning from his mother’s innovative home cooking, using only fresh ingredients, and his father’s passion for growing his own produce through his own chilli company. He has since been inspired to create dishes that strive for taste, texture, colour and sustainability within the local area.

He began his career at 3AA Rosette restaurant Cromlix House Hotel near Dunblane, now owned by Andy Murray. Theodore has built on his culinary skills in renowned restaurants across the country such as two Michelin Starred Gidleigh Park Hotel with Michael Caines and Kinloch House Hotel with Steven McCallum. Theodore has also spent time in the kitchens of The Fat Duck by Heston Blumenthal in Bray and at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at the Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder. Theodore has recently joined The Craft Guild Of Chefs as a member which he is glad to be a part of. Theodore enhanced his knowledge and talents, learning cooking skills that would prove indispensable throughout his career.

Theodore has been a contestant in BBC’s MasterChef: The Professionals in 2016 and since then, has worked with numerous television providers such as Amazon, ITV and Channel 4 appearing on Bake Off: The Professionals in 2020.

PAUL HOOD

Executive chef for Scottish event catering company, Heritage Portfolio and was a contestant on MasterChef: The Professionals 2020.

Born in Prestonfield, Paul is just 34 years old but already has 20 years of experience working in professional kitchens, in which time he has kindled his passion for molecular gastronomy.

Under the tutelage of chef Kenny Coltman, Paul worked his way up the ranks in the kitchen of Prestonfield House, before taking on roles at Edinburgh Waldorf Astoria's Pompadour and La Garrigue.

Since he joined Heritage Portfolio, Paul has cooked at prestigious events at Ascot, at the Queen’s Garden Party, as well as at a birthday party for the creator of Minecraft.
